their lives flashed before them as footprints in the sand. However,
one sister suddenly became upset.
"Sister, you said you would always be by my side, but I see here
that at the lowest and saddest points in my life, there is only one
set of footprints instead of two. How could you leave me when I
needed you most?" The other sister replied, "My precious, precious
sister, I love you and would never leave you. At the saddest and
lowest points in your life, when you see only one set of footprints
instead of two, it was then that I carried you."
